CAA coaches work at host site organizations around the country. All of our CAA host organizations are dedicated to empowering youth through sports and committed to training, guiding and mentoring CAA members during their intensive terms of service. Though they use a wide variety of different sports, each host site meets baseline quality requirements that ensure a fulfilling experience for coaches and youth alike.
How It Works:
1. CAA works with host sites to create coach roles.
2. Position descriptions are posted on the My AmeriCorps site.
3. Coaches apply directly to host sites through the My AmeriCorps online application. Potential coaches may apply to as many individual positions as they wish.
4. The entire application and interview process happens between the individual coach applicant and the host site.
5. Once a qualified applicant is selected, CAA provides the enrollment kit and coach contract, orientation materials, training, and on-going support.
