From the tin shacks of Ebeye Island in the Pacific Ocean to the streets of Washington, DC, the story of Up2Us Sports and how it came to be is a long and winding one. Though its roots begin in the late 1980’s after Founder & CEO Paul Caccamo graduated from Georgetown University’s Edmund Walsh School of Foreign Service, Up2Us Sports (née Up2Us) didn’t begin to take shape until 2008. Then, it was another two years - on January 12, 2010 - when it officially was born as a federally-recognized 501(c3) nonprofit organization.
