Hoop From The Heart 2020: 3-on-3 Charity Basketball Tournament

Hoop From the Heart is a 3-on-3 charity basketball tournament established by Jennifer Kaplan and Rachel Weiner in honor of their father, Jay Katz, who they lost to heart disease in 2012. Jay loved to hoop. Basketball combined so much of what made him passionate about life - being a part of a team, staying active, and having fun. To honor his legacy, proceeds from the event will go to Up2Us Sports, a non-profit that shares those same values.

In April 2018, Hoop from the Heart held its first tournament, raising over $17,000 for Up2Us Sports. Now, it's time to run it back. On May 2nd, they are hosting the second 3-on-3 tournament, Hoop from the Heart 2020.

Each team is guaranteed at least two games. Each team may have 3-5 players. Teams can consist of any gender. To register a team, click here.

Join us at the event as a spectator! Everyone is invited to watch and there will be pop-up shops and kids games led by Up2Us Sports coaches.
