Let's Help #LeadHerForward On NGWSD

On February 5, 2020 we celebrate the 34th Annual National Girls and Women in Sports Day. This national celebration, powered by our friends at the Women’s Sports Foundation, recognizes the importance of equal opportunity for all girls and women in sports.

Women and girls all over the world are faced with unique challenges and hardships, but we are committed to advancing girls in sport, because we truly believe that She Changes the Game. Join us as we Lead Her Forward and recognize student-athletes, champion athletes, coaches, administrators and lawmakers who are committed to providing equitable access to sports for all girls and women.

This NGWSD, we are so excited to be able to offer a FREE digital curriculum, in partnership with adidas, that was designed, based on years of research, especially for coaches, mentors and role-models for girls. Up2Us Sports and adidas, through their She Changes the Game and Breaking Barriers initiatives, believe in the importance of coaches to unlock all that sports have to offer girls, which in turn will improve those girls’ lives and better society. The female athletes of today will be the leaders of tomorrow, and supporting them in realizing their full potential will change the fate of generations to come.

At Up2Us Sports we emphasize the importance of women and girls in sport because a significant cause of girls' dropout rate is a lack of positive coaches and role models.
